Quotes

All quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of quotation. If acceptance is received after this period has lapsed, a requote may be required.

The customer must communicate acceptance of the quote in writing before an order will be placed.

Interacoustics reserves the right to increase its prices at any time and will notify you in writing of any such increases.


Warranty & Guarantee

New and unused goods delivered directly by the supplier or its authorised representatives carry a guarantee under the following conditions.

  • When properly installed and used the goods are guaranteed for two (2) years from the date of delivery. This means that the supplier will correct, without further charge, defects in the goods arising from faulty manufacture or deficient materials or components, providing the goods are returned, postage paid to the supplier or the supplier’s authorised representative before the expiry of the guarantee period together with a full account of the defects.
  • The cost of packaging and shipping the repaired goods back to the purchaser are covered by the supplier or the supplier’s authorised representative.
  • Parts and accessories are warranted for ninety (90) days.
  • The supplier shall not be held liable for any loss or injury incurred as a result of repairs or modifications made to the goods by anyone other than the supplier or the supplier’s authorised representative without the supplier’s written permission. Such repairs or modifications will also terminate any further guaranteed obligations.
  • Compensation cannot be paid for wages, loss of profit, waste of time, packing and transport resulting from defects in the goods.

 Payments

Interacoustics will issue an invoice for payment. Payments are to be made thirty (30) days from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing with a sales representative.

If payment is not made within the payment terms, interest may be charged on the unpaid amount.


Shipping

Our goods are shipped via air freight from manufacturing plants in Europe. Most items we provide are custom produced. This allows the flexibility to design your own unit to suit your clinical needs. Our delivery time frames will be discussed with you at the time of purchase. All reasonable efforts will be made to give you a clear indication of the wait time. Recent supply chain and production issues as well as local freightage and courier delays have pushed out delivery timeframes. Some items may need to be occasionally sea freighted.

Unless an item is in stock in our local storage facilities, units take a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks to be delivered from your point of order.

Freight costs are not included in the price of your instrument, and will be quoted at the time of purchase. Charges are based on volume and delivery location.

We will deliver your goods to the nominated address and place. Please provide clear delivery instructions at the time of purchase.

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to you at the time of delivery.

 Returns

On an individual basis, items may be returned at the sole discretion of the National Manager.  A restocking fee of 15-20% applies based on the item purchased.

The rights given under the product warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates to. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Laws. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
